Teide National Park Photos

El Teide is the highest mountain in Spain and the world's third-tallest volcano. When I visited in late March, most of the snow had melted from the south slope of the mountain while much of the north slope still had snow, giving an interesting contrast in photos from different sides.

Los Roques de García are natural rock formations set against the backdrop of El Teide.

I rode the Teleférico del Teide cable car to a height of 3,555 metres, close to the 3,718-metre summit. Trails at the top were unfortunately closed due to ice.
